Chiropractic Care
We specialize in correcting your body’s misalignments. Our goal is to ensure that your spine and the rest of your body are working harmoniously. To do so, we will help you develop a plan that will require light stretching, some exercise, chiropractic care, and a healthy diet.

Chiropractic Adjustments
A chiropractic adjustment can make you feel so much better. Your body does not want to be out of alignment, and that’s exactly what an adjustment can help address. It is also known as chiropractic manipulation, manual manipulation, or spinal manipulation. The adjustment refers to the manipulation of the vertebrae that have abnormal movements and are not functioning properly. A chiropractic adjustment will assist in fixing these issues.
The goal of chiropractic treatment is to reduce the subluxation, increase the range of motion, reduce nerve irritability, and improve mobility. Our compassionate and qualified chiropractor will work with you to relieve this pain and get you back to being pain free every single day.
Although many people visit their chiropractor and have an adjustment when something feels out of alignment, a regular visit will help you avoid any pain in the future and will keep your body feeling great all day long.
If you are having one of those days when you are not in the best mood, an adjustment may actually help. Your body will feel much better, which will naturally improve your mood.

Cold Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is a treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and help accelerate your healing process. Laser treatment can be used on people suffering from acute and chronic conditions in order to eliminate pain and swelling, increase functionality, and reduce spasms.

Corrective Exercises
Corrective exercises are the use of bodily movements and/or postures to restore desirable changes in diseased or injured tissues. The corrective exercises are movement strategies that minimize or eliminate compensation. Corrective exercises should precede more integrated exercises, because they can cue the patient’s motor system to respond in a more desirable way and assist in removing or improving biomechanical constraints.

Electrical Stimulation
Electrotherapy is an alternative pain management treatment option that involves the use of mild electromagnetic pulses to provide relief for the patient. This treatment option can dull pain, repair tissue, strengthen muscles, and even improve your blood circulation.

Interferential Current Therapy
Interferential current therapy sends high-frequency electric signals into muscles and tissues to soothe and relieve pain. It is an effective option that many physiatherapy clinics use to relieve pain. It is also used to speed up the healing process in many cases. It has been shown to be an effective therapy option for many patients who are recovering from injury or surgery. This is just one of several services we offer in our attempts to get your body to a state of health and pain free.

Russian Stimulation
Russian stimulation is a electrical stimulation to help heal many conditions in a variety of ways. It will increase the intensity and takes your muscles into a full contraction. Typically, russian stimulation is used to regenerate nerve fibers.
Russian stimulation works by contracting muscles that have been denervated at the same time as being stimulated. This will help your brain reconnect the circuit that is being rewired or blocked in some way. Russian stimulation also helps to stimulate your endorphins, which assist in reducing your pain.
We encourage you to arrange a private consultation. Use this time to describe your health issue and share your goals. This is often helpful in determining if you’re likely to be a good candidate for chiropractic care. Contact us today at (513) 424-4655.

Physiotherapy
It is important to understand that often times where the pain presents is not the area that needs to be treated. The pain may be due to that area compensating and being over-worked from another area not pulling its weight. Our rehabilitation program includes strength, flexibility and agility training as well as training focused on coordination of body parts and motion to prepare the individual to return to full participation.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound therapy is a chiropractic treatment used to help reduce muscle pain and increase range of motion. By using sound waves, we are able to stimulate deep inside the tissue. This minimizes stiffness, swelling, and pain while also promoting circulation, and pain-free movement.

Dry Needling
Here at Chiropractic & Sports Medicine Consultants, we are proud to offer dry needling! Dry needling aims to address neuromuscular conditions, relieve pain, and improve range of motion. During your scheduled appointment, we will insert a small needle into specified areas of your body depending on your unique and individual needs.
Dry needling follows evidence based guidelines, recommended point locations, and dosages for treatment of specific conditions. Our goal is to improve pain control and reduce muscle tension through this technique.
For more information on dry needling or to schedule an appointment, please don’t hesitate to contact us today at (513) 424-4655!

Cupping
Cupping is an ancient practice and can be found as far back as 1550 B.C. in Egyptian texts. It was practiced in ancient Chinese and Middle Eastern cultures as well. Cupping has been adopted by practitioners across many different forms of eastern medicine, including Ayurveda. It is used to treat a wide range of health issues including, but not limited to:
- Inflammation
- Injury
- Neck, shoulder, and back pain
- Joint problems
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Asthma
- Headaches
- Cramps
- Digestive issues
- Arthritis
- Eczema
- Acne
- Allergies
- High blood pressure
- Anxiety
We perform cupping therapy by placing specialized cups on your skin for several minutes to create suction. You can think of it as the opposite of a massage – pulling your tissue up rather than massing your tissue down. Depending on your needs, cupping can also be combined with acupuncture.
